院校背景到底多重要申请英国这些学校你必须得了解

在每年的留学咨询中，很多小伙伴都会不约而同提到一个问题，那就是院校背景到底对于申请的影响大不大？今天这篇文章，我们就以英国两所顶尖的综合类院校为例，一起探寻这个问题的答案吧！
英国学校目前普遍的要求是针对中国申请者设置一个认证院校名单，同时对申请者本科期间的gpa（平均分成绩）有一定要求，审核申请时会优先录取属于认证院校名单并且达到最低均分要求的申请者。
以伦敦大学院ucl最新的要求为例。
ucl不同专业所要求的成绩会根据颁发大学的不同而不同。ucl招生部门使用由大学相关委员会审查的中国大学名单，包括211工程、985工程和双一流大学。
但是并非所有属于这些项目的每一所大学都包括在内。
受认可大学名单中的申请者需要满足以下入学要求。
如果申请专业要求2：1学士学位，那么最低加权平均分为85%。如果申请专业要求2：2学士学位，那么最低加权平均分为80%。而ucl提供的认证院校名单如下

如果院校在认证名单中，最低加权平均分达到85%。如果是中国教育部认可的所有其他大学，最低加权平均分不低于90%。而另一所对于设计留学更热门的院校，爱丁堡大学，则也有自己更详细的认证院校名单，同时不同专业设置了abcd四个阶梯要求。
